Goal
Sell sets of fruit (notated with a black icon) + veggie (notated with a white icon) for each of the 4 seasons.
Spring (Green)
Summer (Yellow)
Autumn (Brown)
Winter (Gray)
Actions
1. Draw from one of the 4 face up cards
2. Draw a face down card from the draw deck
3. Discard a card from your hand
A face up card that is picked will be replaced immediately. There will always be 4 face up cards.
There is no hand limit for number of cards you can have in your hand.
Market and Rules for Selling
There are three market cards in the draw deck, roughly at 1/3 and 2/3 point of the deck and also the last card of the draw deck.
When the market card is revealed, players can sell cards from their hands.
Players can only sell set of 1 fruit + 1 veggie belonging to the same season.
Players can only sell 1 fruit/veggie set for each season.
Players can sell sets for multiple seasons at any market, but only if they are in a fruit/veggie set.
Once a player had sold sets for all 4 seasons, the game will end.
After the selling phase had ended, the player to the left of the one who draws the market card will resume playing.
Calamity and Insurance
There are four calamity cards in the deck, one for each season. Players can pick up a calamity card like any fruit/veggie card. When a calamity card is discarded, all players, including the player who plays it, will have to discard a card belonging to that season.
You can pass if you do not have a card belonging to that season.
After the selling phase, the player who drew the market card will be offered insurance (the back of the market card in a physical game). A player can opt to play an insurance card instead of a fruit/veggie card when calamity strikes.
Scoring
Players gain number of points on the fruit & veggie cards played.
Fruit & veggie cards remaining in hand are negative points.
Insurance cards remaining in hand are -3 points each.
